During the peak of a cyclone known as Storm Amy, Bridlington's lifeboat is tasked to a Dutch trawler that has lost power 13 miles off the Yorkshire coast. In Ireland, an urgent call comes in to the Crosshaven crew from a yacht taking part in a local race; on board, an elderly sailor is reported to have broken his leg.
